BCS Championship

As a Buckeye fan and a Big Ten fan, there isn't much about tonight's game between Oklahoma and Florida to get excited about. And if you saw USC or Utah play you already know that this whole "National Championship" thing is a fiasco. Not to mention playing exhibition games that don't really count in order to settle a Champion is just a sham from start to finish. Nevertheless, they're going to play the game anyway, and god help me, I'll probably watch some significant portion of it.

That being said, I'm rooting against the Gators. If that means rooting for Oklahoma then that's just how it's going to have to be. I don't find anything about Florida the least bit appealing, and frankly I'm just sick of them and the whole SEC. Not that Oklahoma's that much better and the Big 12 is always overrated. But the Sooners are this year's perennial losers (they're the ones who lost to Boise State a few years ago) so they have the underdog thing working for them.

Unfortunately, I think Florida will be too fast for them and their defense will tie Oklahoma up in knots. It's hard to see how the Gators won't win big.
