Frak

The return of the Battlestar Galactica was totally worth the wait. And, as usual, the point of the story was that we've been asking all the wrong questions.

It will interesting to see how they unravel all the timelines and sort how the cycles of humans and cylons and rebellions and escapes. It's all happened before and will all happen again. Perhaps it's up to Kara to break the dysfunctional cycle?

One of the things that I think made this episode successful was that it was structured like an episode of Lost. Flashbacks, lots of scenes for the ensemble, background actors wandering around looking depressed. It all added up to a whole. Only this time the island is a nuked out wasteland.

Now they have nine episodes left not to screw it up. I won't hold my breath.
