Saw a terrific production of Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor last night.
They did the play in a tent at the Rock Ledge Ranch (which is part of the Garden of the Gods) in Colorado Springs. Set in a mythical Windsor, Colorado of the 1880s, it was part Deadwood, part modern-day Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and a little-bit bawdy Ren Fair show.
Good times. I imagine Queen Elizabeth - as portrayed by Miranda Richardson in Blackadder - enjoying it way too much.
