College Football Week 10

After falling behind 17-10 in the second half, the Buckeyes and their fans were primed for the big upset. It had been a good ride to this point, but maybe, just maybe this was the week where the defense faltered and the offense couldn't pull their weight. And just at that moment when all of the doubts started to creep in to everyone's minds, the Buckeyes tied the score and proceeded to let loose with a 21 point fourth quarter to seal the game. An amazing performance when you consider how conservative the hopes were for this team at the beginning of the season. Illinois and Michigan remain. Both are good teams but by no means juggernauts. 12-0 is in reach and another National Championship game. Who would have thought it?

It's better to be lucky than good. Just ask Michigan who barely escaped their game against MSU and LSU who should have lost to Alabama. Meanwhile Oregon thumps Arizona State and BC falls to Florida State. Last but not least, Notre Dame falls to Navy. I said, "ha! ha!" Oh, and Colorado State loses again (this time to BYU). We'll get 'em next year.
